Blog 59: Biggest Mistake

I don’t think there is any huge mistake that I have made in my life.  I know I have made mistakes but none of them have been life changing for me and I’ve learned lessons from all of them.  One mistake I made was crashing my first car.  I was on the way to a dentist appointment and was driving on the freeway.  It was sleeting outside of course because Ohio weather sucks and it was in December.  It was rush hour and I was just about to get off the freeway when traffic suddenly stopped and my car didn’t and I slammed into the back of someone.  My poor little red corolla was totaled and I got a concussion but hey, definitely a lesson learned to be more cautious and drive slower when the weather is bad. And I got a better car out of it in the end. I think that making mistakes is okay and nobody is perfect.  If we didn’t all make mistakes then the world would just be a boring place to live.  If celebrities didn’t make mistakes then all those gossip magazines wouldn’t have anything to talk about. Another mistake that I made when I was younger was trying to cut “shapes” into my hair.  Lesson learned: it will make your mother cry.  I learned at the age of four that I did not have a future in cosmetology, and the triangles and squares that you chop out of your hair take a long time to grow back.  Fortunately we have pictures so I’ll never forget.

  1. Thats unfortunate, but at least your ok and it was only a concussion, crashing on the freeway could have resulted in much worse!
