A dream that I have is to get into the Athletic Training program here at Ohio State. Only 25 people get into this program each year and it is extremely competitive but I really want to be a part of it. I sent in my application in February and got an email saying that I was one of the 30 students that are going to get an interview. My interview is this Wednesday afternoon and I am extremely nervous. I have always known that I wanted to do something in the medical field and I have always had an interest in sports so I think that this major would be the perfect one for me. I think that it would be awesome to be a part of the recovery process that an injured athlete has to go through to get back to doing what they love. I find out this Friday whether or not they accepted me. If I do get accepted into this program then this summer I will be working with the football team at their two-a-day practices. I think that would be an incredible experience for me and I would learn a lot. I hope that my interview goes well on Wednesday and they like me enough to let me in. I also hope to in my future go to grad school for Physical Therapy and one day work somewhere where I can be a physical therapist for athletes.
That is pretty cool. If there are only 30 people interviewing for 25 spots, it seems you are extremely close to your dream.
ReplyDeleteYou sound positive and motivated as well. Good qualities in this field. I'm sure you would make a superior rehab specialist.
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK ON YOUR INTERVIEW THIS WEEK LOVE!
